Revenue Optimization Manager

Full-Time in Delray Beach, FL - Remote OK - Mid Level - Performance

YOUR ROLE

You'll be responsible for the relentless optimization of revenue for the 3 million (and growing!) visitors who arrive at our content each month from multiple channels including paid marketing, SEO, and syndication partnerships. You'll work with teams to develop a strong understanding of our clients' success metrics and FinanceBuzz audience attributes.

Driven by a growth mindset and strong curiosity, you’ll dive deep into the data to find high-impact opportunities for optimization then own implementing and testing your ideas.

This role sits at the intersection of the sales, account management, media buying, product, and content teams. You will work with our talented account management and sales team to secure new advertisers and increase payouts, the media buying team to optimize a campaign based on the performance you're seeing on-site, and the content team to increase monetization on a trending article every single day. Needless to say, this role has the potential to make a major and immediate impact on the FinanceBuzz business.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be action-oriented, analytical, unafraid of rapid change and testing. You need to thrive while moving between high-level thinking and getting deep into the weeds. We need someone who can really understand page themes, offer mixes and understand how the theme of the page can impact yield.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own yield across FinanceBuzz; drive revenue and profitability toward quarterly and annual goals
  • Analyze payouts, performance, and other trends and make recommendations to maximize revenue
  • Uncover opportunities to increase revenue per user by analyzing data and trends
  • Relentlessly test, mostly focused on offer mix, advertiser mix, offer depth, and device type
  • Partner with revenue ops to test new advertisers, offers, and site experiences
  • Identify, prioritize, and launch new verticals
  • Maintain feedback loop with Account Management team to ensure partner KPIs are being met
  • Collaborate with internal media teams to scale paid media and exceed ROAS targets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience working in digital analytics and optimization
  • Experience with Looker, Google Analytics, or similar analytics platforms
  • Expert knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Deep understanding of revenue optimization
  • Ability to see the long-term picture but deliver short-term success
  • Experience working with affiliate partners
  • Proven success developing and implementing strategy with a cross-functional team
